The 'Ambrish Sharma College of Education & Technology (A.S.C.E.T.) is situated at Hapur highway Meerut. It falls with in National Cpital Region. |
A.S.C.E.T. is just 10 Kms. away from Meerut City Railway station and 4 Km. from Meerut Hapur Bus stand. It is easily accessible by Local Bus Service. |
The College has natural surroundings, which makes its location ideal for a temple of learning. |
The college also aims at inculcating the secular national outlook enriched by the inspiration taken from Indian culture and tradition of Indian Society. |
The college is run by Gangadan Ambrish Sharma Charitable Trust and managed by the college managing
committee consisting of seasoned educationists to C.C.S. University, Meerut. The medium of instruction in all classes is mainly Hindi, students are helped by providing assistance in English whenever yhe need arises. |
For the physical development of the students, the college has its own Badminton, Volleyball courts and facilities for other sports activities also. |
The syllabi for various courses of study are prescribed by C.C.CS. University. Games, music, dance speech development, craft
knowledge are emphasized in the college during regular academic studies. |
The atmosphere of the college
inculcates in the students the essential ingredients of moral education that makes them good learners, good persons, good workers and good citizens. |

Our Inspiration |

Pt. Gangadan Sharma was born in Kharkhuda village of Meerut distt. He was educated at D.N. College and after completing LL.B. from Meerut College, he started his practice at Meerut Distt. Court. Here he recognized as an esteemed citizen of Meerut. Accordingly, he became
Secretary of N. A. S. Degree College, under his
secretary ship the college progressed by leaps and bounds, many new courses of study were approved by the university and very soon the college acquired the status of a reputed post
gradate college. He was elected President of the Bar Association, Meerut in the year 1964. Unfortunately, the very next year he expired on 9th Jan. |

Falling in footsteps of his father, Sh. Ambrish Sharma also preferred legal profession. After completing L. L. B. in 1973 he started his practice in High Court Allahabad as an advocate. He was elected Secretary of Bar Association twice. His name was on the panel of judges for High Court. He was of very sympathetic in nature and had a soft corner for the
apprised and down trodden. He helped many of such persons in kind and cash. He had a dream of opening an educational institution for poor and needy students. A.S.C.E.T. to a large extent, is a gift of his vision. Unfortunately. he expired in1993 at a young age of 43 years. |

Sh. Anil Kumar Sharma was the man of action strong will. He fulfilled the dreams of his father Pt. Gangadan ji and brother Sh. Ambrish Sharma by
establishing a college, which he named after his deceased elder brother. He personally supervised the construction work of this college and got its affiliation from C. C. S. University, Meerut and recognition from state authorities. His primary
conmen was to serve the village - community by giving their
children an opportunity for higher professional education from an institution, which could provide best facilities for academic, games and sports and environment for development of personality to enable them to face competition from students of urban area. |
